'My first reaction is that labor was different this time. Specifically, the 'mental toughness' that cross fit brings was such a big help during labor. When I first came to observe a WOD my first reaction was how those women appeared to be struggling and suffering, and I thought it looked like the beginning of labor.
As to the pregnancy, I certainly felt more limber during the pregnancy because I normally don't do anything in the form of exercise the last three months or so. It certainly helped emotionally, because staying in CF gave me a chance to get out and be with the fun group. The days that I had CF I ate better and was in a better mood, for sure.
Tuesday nights just aren't the same anymore…'
