1.Tell us about yourself, your family, your occupation, hobbies/interests.
I have a wife and 5 kids with one on the way. I work at the Onyx Collection and like to go fishing and working on things.

2. When do you start CrossFitting? Why did you start? Why do you continue now?
This year in Feb. But this is my 2nd time. I started to better myself. I have two bulging discs in my lower back and was told building up my core muscles would help and it has. I continue it because I feel much better.

3. Do you remember your first WOD? What were your thoughts after your first WOD? YES. It was a rude awaking.

4. What do you enjoy most about CrossFit?
Working out with others and pushing my will for success.

5. What is your proudest CrossFit moment?
Being able to do toes to bar.

6. What is your favorite movement or lift? What is your least favorite?
Favorite movement is shoulder to overhead. Overhead squats is my least favorite.

7. Have you had one or two challenging CrossFit goals that you've achieved recently? What are your current goals and how close are you to reaching them?
I’d like to do a pull up and toes to bar again.

8. What makes CrossFit different from other fitness programs that you might have tried in the past?
Having a coach and a program and a class time. Just need to show up.

9. What impact has CrossFit Benedictus had on your life, in and out of the gym?
It has had a big impact on my life spiritually, physically and mentally. It really helps me achieve my goals in my life.

10. Tell us about your nutrition and how it has changed, if any, since starting CrossFit?
Trying to eat health and do intermittent fasting. Still need to improve.


11. If you could write a WOD for the classes to do, what would it look like?12min AMRAP
3 pullups
4 wall walks
5 toes to bar.

12. What advice do you have for others about the importance of the dedication of taking care of yourself, of investing in yourself?
Do it to help yourself. Then you can take the time to help others. The time is now.

13. What advice would you give to someone new to CrossFit or who is thinking about giving it a try?
You will not regret it and if anything it will change your life for the better.
