'Monday, I was convinced to go play ice hockey in Topeka. I grew up playing hockey and love playing, but hadn't played the past couple years because I hated how fatigued I'd get and how often I'd be out of breath and would need to get off the ice for a line change.
This week, however, was a different story. Several of the guys commented on my improved speed and endurance even after not having laced up the skates in a couple years. I wasn't hyperventilating after skating hard for several minutes Also, I don't have the lower back soreness I used to get after hockey- just a little in my legs. Can't wait to get back out there again.
The only reasonable explanation for the difference would be CF. It was very satisfying to see results like this. Even if I don't usually 'light up the whiteboard', there is definitely improvement taking place.
